ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) unveiled the latest range of gaming laptops, ROG Zephyrus S GX531, ROG Zephyrus S GX701, and ROG Strix SCAR II along with desktop GL12CX.
Graphics on these latest laptops are powered by cutting-edge NVIDIA GeForce RTX engines, yielding incredibly fast displays framed by amazingly slim bezels, serving a fully immersive experience. ROG Strix SCAR and Hero will be available immediately from today (March 11th).
ROG Zephyrus S GX531: World’s Slimmest Gaming Laptop
Proving ROG’s engineering prowess, Zephyrus S GX531 is an ultra-slim laptop that packs high-end gaming components. Targeting a thinner chassis, the slender exterior measures nearly 15.35~16.15mm and leverages a 15.6” display, featuring NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q. The low profile doesn’t scale down specifications, as GX531 is powered by the latest Intel Core i7-8750H CPU, a premium 144Hz refresh rate display and 3ms response time plus all the ROG essentials. This makes the smaller Zephyrus S a more focused alternative for people who prioritize portability above everything else. The 17” gaming laptop packs high-end computing prowess with up to 8th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processors and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX ™ 2080 GPU in an even more compact 15” ultra slim chassis.
